| Dual inflation zippers! Dual inflation zippers are standard on the Venom to fully self inflate your kite to 100% faster and easier than ever before. Full inflation provides a safer and easier launch. As always, the Twin-Skin kites from Peter Lynn do not require a pump or have bladders. The kites self inflate quickly and effortlessly and pack down faster and smaller than the "other style". Spend more time on the water and less time pumping!
Launch Assist Tag! You asked for it, you got it. Launch assist tag helps keep your lines clear for self launching, making it easier and safer for self-launching.
Striking new graphics! Each size comes with a distinct striking new color scheme that is sure to please.
Flight Adjuster: Unlike a power adjuster strap or clam cleat, the NEW Venom integrates a "Flight Adjuster" that can be pre-set for the present conditions, enhancing the power adjuster strap effect and the overall power of the kite without hampering any of the wonderful features that can only be found on a twin-skin kite; safety, incredible depower, stability, and gust absorption. The "Flight Adjuster" allows you to have different settings for light winds as well as heavy winds, extreme aggressive flying or laid-back cruising. Now you can set your kite up for your own personal riding style - another first from Peter Lynn Kiteboarding!
Stability! Any kite surfer that has flown an ARC will agree, the unique benefit of the Twin-Skin profiles is its extreme stability. If the kite flies too far over the pilots head, it will automatically float back into the wind window without luffing and plunging to the ground. The weight is distributed more evenly than with the tube kites, which keeps the kite in the air without heading nose down towards the ground. The Twin-Skin kites usually just float in the air when there is no tension on the lines.
Auto zenith! The Venom will fly above your head (zenith) when placed there without the worry of the kite to fall to the left or right. This proves to be very useful when you need both hands for something else, like placing your board on your feet.
De-power! The Venom has got a tremendous amount of depower, which makes it possible to use one size Venom for a very large wind range. This also gives the rider more control in gusty conditions and allows the rider to use the Venom in more 'overpowered' conditions for more extreme riding, jumps, and that all important 'hang time'!
Performance: The Venom has a superior upwind performance. This makes it easy to get back to the place you started at, even after many jumps and transactions. In competitions, this means that the rider can do a more extreme run without getting outside of the competition area: more time in the box (and the air)!
Fast Turning: Get into some radical "Kite-Loop" action! The smaller cell spacing gives the Venom a more rigid frame for a faster, smoother turn. Want lift? The Venom has plenty in the way of Massive Jumps! The new profile in the Venom gives this kite extreme amount of lift without having to be too powered up. Want to go even higher? Power up your Venom and watch for the top floor as this kite launches you up on an elevator ride that will leave a smile on your face that will worry your friends. Smooth power and speed. The flying speed is not affected by the amount of tension you place on the rear lines, therefore you have constant power and a quick turning kite, even when unhooked. A surprisingly grunty kite on the lower end of its wind range and nearly unbelievable upper range.
Power and Wind Range: The wind range of the new Venoms is just crazy, the top end of each size just doesn't seem to top out! When you are flying at the top end of the wind range with the power adjuster set at max, the rear lines are not slack or sloppy. You will still have a fast steering/flying kite with excellent response.
Water Re-launch Because of the extreme stability, a twin-skin from Peter Lynn is unlikely to ever hit the water in the first place. However if it does, the waterproof taped and reinforced seams and the incorporated silicon valve design behind the air intakes along the kite's leading edge trap the air inside the kite, and make it very hard for water to get in. The large volume of air keeps the whole kite floating on top of the water, so there is nothing stopping the kite from taking off. With very little practice, water re-launching a Peter Lynn Twin-Skin is very simple, quick, and easy to do. Many riders who have already experienced the excitement on a Guerilla 2 claim many months on the water without ever dropping one. When asked about a water re launch, some even claim they have never had to do one. Spend more time in the air and less time relaunching on the water. Get yourself a Peter Lynn Twin-Skin today and discover the new world of kite boarding all over again.
